Aspiring BA
Translate the experience you already have into credible BA evidence. Learn how to talk about requirements, process, data and stakeholders without sounding rehearsed.
Experienced BA
Move from describing what you did to demonstrating judgement, influence and value. That's the difference between a capable BA and a trusted senior one.
Contractor BA
Sharpen your proposition, interview stories and first-30-day approach so clients can see how quickly you will understand the problem and create momentum.
Watch first
Helen's own route into business analysis wasn't a straight line. On the Community Talk podcast she tells the story, and what it taught her about becoming a credible BA.
The work
Coaching draws out the evidence already in your career, challenges weak spots and gives you a practical framework for explaining how you think.
01
Build concise examples that show context, choices, challenge, action and measurable impact.
02
Handle conflict, ambiguity and difficult conversations without losing trust or momentum.
03
Connect analysis to outcomes, cost, risk, customer value and the reason the work matters.
04
Position your experience clearly, read an assignment properly and articulate the value you bring from day one.
05
Explain when and why you use techniques such as BPMN, gap analysis, traceability and prioritisation.
06
Identify the judgement, perspective and working style that make you more than a list of BA techniques.
Test yourself first
Fifteen demanding questions. No multiple choice. See where your experience is strong, and where your answer needs more structure, evidence or impact.
Common questions
The things people usually ask before they book a fit-chat.
It is one-to-one coaching focused on your career as a business analyst. Rather than teaching you techniques from a textbook, we work on how you think, communicate and present your experience: your interview answers, your stakeholder conversations and the way you talk about the value you bring.
Aspiring BAs trying to break into the role, experienced BAs who want to step up to senior or lead positions, and contractor BAs who need to win work and land quickly in new assignments. If you can do the job but struggle to explain how you do it, coaching is usually the missing piece.
Yes. A lot of contract work is won in the first ten minutes of an interview, and in how clearly your CV and profile position your experience. We sharpen your proposition, your interview stories and your first-30-days approach so clients can see the impact you will have from day one.
Training teaches techniques. Coaching develops judgement. We use your real experience, real interviews and real stakeholder situations as the material, so what you learn transfers directly into your next conversation rather than sitting in a folder.
We start with a free fit-chat to see if coaching is right for you. After that, sessions are one-to-one and usually monthly. You set the agenda, I hold the direction, and you leave every session with clear actions.
Sessions are online, so location is not a barrier. Most clients are UK-based, and the contractor content focuses on the UK market, including IR35 and how the contract market actually works.
